Welcome to MEETO, a random video call app developed by Meeto Team. This app is provided and controlled by "Meeto Team" (“MEETO”, “we” or “us”). We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines the information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your personal information. 2. User Consent:

By using MEETO, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. You also consent to the processing of your data, including Personal and Sensitive User Data, as described below.

3. User Advertisement Consent:

MEETO requests your consent for:

  • Personalized advertising and content
  • Advertising and content measurement
  • Audience research and services development
  • Storing and/or accessing information on your device

4. Termsof Use Check:

Users must confirm:

  • Understanding that sharing inappropriate content is not tolerated
  • Confirmation of being 18 years old or above

5. Permissions:

MEETO requires access to the following permissions:

  • Camera
  • Microphone
  • Photos and media to update profile picture

6. Data Collection:

We collect information when you create an account and use the app, such as your Name, Gender, Age, Profile Picture, content you create, and your Public IP Address. We also collect non-personal information from your device for providing services, and technical and behavioral information about your use of the app.

6.1. Personal and Sensitive User Data:

For certain activities, such as when you register, upload content to the app, or contact us directly, you may provide some or all of the following information:

For account sign-up: Name, gender, and age.

User-generated content: Comments, photos, voice, and videos shared on the Service.

Contact information: Information provided when users contact us (e.g., through feedback).

6.2. Non-Personal Information:

Information we collect automatically when you use the app, including your IP address, unique device identifiers, and screen resolution.

6.3. Device information: OS platform, device type, brand, model, OS version, IP address, advertising identifier, device language, time zone, app version, locale, location, purchase history, available languages, device capability, error-reporting information, the time the error occurred, the feature being used, and the state of the application when the error occurred.

6.4. Log information: Usage information, performance timing, referrer, network type, network info, access, and reports history.

6.5. Location information: Processed with user consent or as necessary to deliver the Service you have requested.

All these data are used for analytics in developer console (Privacy Policy) and Firebase (Privacy Policy).

7. Third-Party SDK:

MEETO uses third-party SDKs (CAS.AI Privacy Policy | Applovin Policy) compliant with Google Play policies. Neither MEETO nor the SDK providers sell personal and sensitive user data. Third-party SDKs are used for ads monetization. Please refer to the third-party SDK providers' privacy policies for more details.

8. Location data

We collect information about your location, based on your IP address.

9. How we use your information

We use your information to fulfill and enforce our Terms of Service, to improve and administer the app, and to allow you to use its functionalities. We may also use your information to, among other things, show you suggestions, promote the Platform, and customize your ad experience.

We generally use the information we collect:

  • to fulfill requests for products, services, app functionality, support and information for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical, and survey purposes and to solicit your feedback
  • to send promotional materials from us or on behalf of our affiliates and trusted third parties
  • to improve and develop our app and conduct product development
  • to measure and understand the effectiveness of the advertising we serve to you and others and to deliver targeted advertising
  • to make suggestions and a customized ad experience
  • to support the social functions of the app, including to permit you and other users to connect with each other through the app and for you and other users to share, download, and otherwise interact with User Content posted through the app
  • to use User Content as part of our advertising and marketing campaigns to promote the app
  • to help us detect abuse, fraud, and illegal activity on the app
  • to ensure that you are old enough to use the app (as required by law)
  • to communicate with you, including to notify you about changes in our services
  • to announce you as a winner of our contest, sweepstakes, or promotions if permitted by the promotion rule, and to send you any applicable prizes
  • to enforce our terms, conditions, and policies
  • consistent with your permissions, to provide you with location-based services, such as advertising and other personalized content

  • to combine all the information we collect or receive about you for any of the foregoing purposes

10. Sharing of Information:

We are committed to maintaining your trust, and we want you to understand when and with whom we may share the information we collect.

If you access third-party services, such as (Facebook, Google, or Twitter) to login to the app or to share information about your usage on the app with others, these third-party services may be able to collect information about you, including information about your activity on the Platform, and they may notify your connections on the third-party services about your use of the app, in accordance with their privacy policies. Keep in note that our current version does't use facebook, google or twitter login.

MEETO shares user information with third-party SDKs, Google Play Console, and Firebase and other ads monetization platforms for:

  • Ads personalization
  • Service improvement
  • Analytics
If you choose to engage in public activities on the app, you should be aware that any information you share may be read, collected, or used by other users. You should use caution in disclosing personal information while engaging. We are not responsible for the information you choose to submit.

11. Your Rights:

Users have the right to deny permission and opt-out of data sharing. Non-consent may impact certain app functionalities.

Your mobile device may include a feature that allows you to opt out of some types of targeted advertising (“Opt out of Interest-Based Ads” on Android).

You can opt out of marketing or advertising emails by utilizing the “unsubscribe” link or mechanism noted in marketing or advertising emails.

12. Children Policy:

MEETO is intended for users 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

13. Request for User Data deletion

Users can send an email to the Contact Email Address mentioned at the end of this article. User should send their User ID in the email, follow below steps to delete your data:

  • Start the MEETO
  • Go to Setting
  • Click on Delete Data
  • Tap COPY to copy the User ID
  • Paste n the given field
  • Submit and send us an email

14. Changes to the Privacy Policy:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update the Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy and posting the new Privacy Policy and providing any other notice required by applicable law. We recommend that you review the Privacy Policy each time you visit the app to stay informed of our privacy practices.
