Child Safety Standards
MEETO — Random Video Chat · Meeto Team
Meeto Team is committed to the highest standards of child safety. MEETO is a real-time 1-on-1 random video chat application strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We have zero tolerance for any content, conduct, or activity that exploits, endangers, or harms minors in any form.
This Child Safety Standards document explains the measures we take to prevent underage access, detect and remove harmful content, protect children from exploitation, and cooperate with authorities and trusted safety organizations. This document should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Account Deletion page, which together govern the rights and safety of all users.

Our Commitment to Child Safety
Protecting children is not a compliance checkbox for us — it is a foundational principle of how MEETO operates. We build, maintain, and continually improve our platform with child safety at the center of every decision involving access controls, content moderation, reporting, and enforcement.
Our commitment includes:
- Enforcing a strict 18+ age gate that blocks underage users at onboarding
- Maintaining a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors
- Providing accessible in-app reporting tools that any user can use at any time
- Acting swiftly on all reports involving minors with immediate account termination
- Cooperating fully with law enforcement agencies and child protection organizations when required
- Reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in accordance with applicable law
Age Restriction and Enforcement
Mandatory Age Verification at Onboarding
Every new user must complete a date-of-birth entry during the onboarding process before gaining any access to MEETO's features. This step uses a scrollable date picker (month, date, year) and is not skippable. If the date of birth entered indicates the user is under 18 years of age, the system automatically:
- Displays a clear notification informing the user they do not meet the age requirement
- Blocks all further access to the App immediately
- Does not create an account or retain any data for the blocked user
How the Age Gate Fits Into Onboarding
The onboarding flow is structured so age verification occurs before camera, microphone, or any other permission is requested:
- Agreement screen — Terms of Use and Privacy Policy acknowledgment
- Language selection
- Gender selection
- Display name entry
- Date of birth — age gate enforced here (under-18 blocked with notification)
- Permissions — Notifications, Camera, Microphone
- Home screen (only reached by verified 18+ users)
No Account Recovery for Blocked Users
Users who are blocked due to failing the age verification cannot create an account, request access, or bypass the restriction through any in-app mechanism. If a minor has circumvented this requirement using a false date of birth, their account will be terminated immediately upon discovery, and all associated data will be deleted. Please see Section 10 for guidance on reporting suspected underage users.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following categories of content and conduct are strictly prohibited on MEETO and will result in immediate account termination, reporting to authorities where applicable, and cooperation with law enforcement:
| Prohibited Category | Description | Tolerance Level |
|---|---|---|
| Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) | Any image, video, text, or other content that sexually exploits or depicts a minor in a sexual manner | Zero Tolerance |
| Grooming | Any attempt to build trust with a minor for the purpose of manipulation, exploitation, or abuse — including requests for personal contact information, meetings, or sexual content | Zero Tolerance |
| Sexual solicitation of minors | Sending or requesting sexually explicit content to or from any person believed to be under the age of 18 | Zero Tolerance |
| Distribution of CSAM | Sharing, distributing, or linking to any content that depicts the sexual exploitation of a minor through any feature of the App | Zero Tolerance |
| Facilitating access by minors | Providing false age information on behalf of a minor, or assisting a minor in bypassing the age gate | Zero Tolerance |
| Predatory or exploitative behavior | Any conduct targeting a minor for financial, emotional, or sexual exploitation — including sextortion | Zero Tolerance |
Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
Meeto Team maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM). CSAM is defined as any visual depiction — including photographs, videos, digital images, or computer-generated content — that sexually exploits a minor (a person under 18 years of age).
Detection and Removal
Any content reported or identified as potential CSAM is treated as an emergency requiring immediate action. Upon identification:
- The content is removed immediately
- The offending account is permanently terminated without notice
- The incident is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via its CyberTipline, as required by U.S. federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), regardless of where the incident occurred
- All available account data related to the incident is preserved and made available to law enforcement upon lawful request
Mandatory Reporting Obligation
Meeto Team complies fully with mandatory reporting requirements under applicable law. We do not withhold, delay, or selectively report CSAM incidents. All confirmed or credibly suspected CSAM is reported to NCMEC and, where applicable, to local law enforcement and international child protection authorities.

Content Moderation
MEETO's content moderation system is designed to identify, review, and act on violations quickly. Moderation operates across multiple layers:
Video Calls — Real-Time Only
MEETO's video call feature is powered by WebRTC technology and operates entirely in real time. Video and audio content is never recorded, stored, or accessible to us. Moderation of live call content relies on user reports filed immediately after or during a session. We strongly encourage users to report any concerning behavior observed during a call as soon as it occurs.
How to Report a Violation
MEETO provides multiple reporting pathways to ensure that any user — or any concerned person outside the App — can report a child safety concern quickly and easily.
In-App Reporting
You can report any user directly within the App at any point during or after an interaction:
- During a video call: Tap the report icon visible on the call screen
- In text chat: Tap the user's profile or use the in-chat menu to access the Report option
- From a profile: Tap the three-dot menu on any user profile and select Report
- From Settings → Blocklist: Report previously blocked users
When submitting a report, you will be asked to select a reason. For child safety concerns, select the most relevant reason (e.g., "Underage user," "Inappropriate content," or "Harmful or illegal behavior"). You may also add additional context in the report.
Reporting via Email
If you are unable to use in-app reporting — or if you are a parent, guardian, teacher, or other concerned third party — please contact us directly:
Email: johnapps.official007@gmail.com
Please include as much information as possible in your report: the username or profile details of the reported user, a description of the incident, any screenshots or evidence you are able to provide, and the approximate date and time of the incident.
Reporting CSAM Directly to Authorities
If you believe you have witnessed or discovered CSAM, we strongly encourage you to report it directly to the relevant authorities in addition to contacting us:
- NCMEC CyberTipline (United States): missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline
- Internet Watch Foundation (IWF — United Kingdom / Global): iwf.org.uk/report
- Your local law enforcement agency — if a child may be in immediate danger, contact emergency services immediately.
Our Response to Violations
When a child safety violation is reported or detected, we follow a structured and prioritized enforcement process:
| Violation Type | Response | Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Suspected underage user | Account suspended pending review; terminated if confirmed; all data deleted | Priority — immediate review |
| Grooming or sexual solicitation | Permanent account ban; data preserved for law enforcement cooperation | Immediate termination |
| CSAM distribution | Permanent account ban; content removed; mandatory report to NCMEC; data preserved for law enforcement | Immediate — no delay |
| Sextortion or predatory behavior | Permanent account ban; report to law enforcement as appropriate | Immediate termination |
| Facilitating minor access | Permanent account ban of the facilitating adult account | Immediate termination |
Cooperation with Authorities and Organizations
Meeto Team cooperates fully and without delay with law enforcement agencies, child protection organizations, and regulatory authorities in all matters involving the safety and protection of minors. This cooperation includes:
- Law enforcement requests: We respond promptly to lawful requests from law enforcement agencies for account data, usage records, and other information relevant to investigations involving child safety. Data is preserved and provided as required by applicable law.
- NCMEC CyberTipline reporting: We report all confirmed or credibly suspected CSAM incidents to the NCMEC CyberTipline in accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A and other applicable mandatory reporting laws. This obligation is not discretionary.
- International authorities: We cooperate with child protection agencies in other jurisdictions to the extent required by applicable international law and treaties.
- Platform safety partners: We monitor guidance and best practices from child safety organizations including NCMEC, the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and the Technology Coalition, and we strive to implement their recommendations where applicable.
Our cooperation with authorities is unconditional when it comes to child safety. We do not require a court order before preserving data in an emergency involving potential harm to a child.
Safety by Design
Child safety is built into the structure of MEETO at the product level — not treated as an afterthought. The following design decisions reflect our commitment:
| Design Feature | Child Safety Purpose |
|---|---|
| Mandatory date-of-birth entry at onboarding | Prevents underage users from creating accounts before any features are accessible |
| Automated age gate with hard block | Eliminates the possibility of accidental underage access without human review |
| No anonymous or social sign-in (guest-based auth) | Every account is uniquely linked to a device ID, enabling enforcement and accountability |
| Video calls are real-time only — never stored | Prevents CSAM from being stored, distributed, or retained through our infrastructure |
| One-tap report from any screen | Reduces friction for users reporting concerning behavior during or after a session |
| Block functionality accessible at all times | Allows users to immediately cut contact with any person engaging in harmful behavior |
| Report and block logs retained after account deletion | Preserves enforcement history for ongoing safety investigations |
| 18+ Play Store rating | Restricts app visibility and installation on devices associated with minor accounts |
Guidance for Parents and Guardians
MEETO is not intended for anyone under the age of 18, and we take every reasonable step to prevent underage access. However, we recognize that determined minors may attempt to bypass age verification using a false date of birth.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has accessed MEETO — or if you have any concern about a child's interaction with someone on our platform — please contact us immediately:
Email: johnapps.official007@gmail.com
Please provide any account details you are aware of (e.g., display name, profile photo description, or approximate account creation date). We will investigate promptly and terminate any confirmed underage account, deleting all associated data immediately.
What We Will Do
- Acknowledge your report within a reasonable time
- Investigate the reported account
- Terminate the account immediately if underage access is confirmed
- Delete all data associated with the account upon termination
- Take appropriate enforcement action against any adult user who engaged in inappropriate contact with the minor
