MEETO — Random Video Chat · Meeto Team
MEETO connects people around the world through real-time 1-on-1 random video chat. We want every interaction on MEETO to be respectful, safe, and genuine. These Community Guidelines define the standards of behavior expected from every user on our platform.
By using MEETO, you agree to follow these Guidelines at all times. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform, depending on the severity and frequency of the offense. These Guidelines should be read alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Who Can Use MEETO
Users must also comply with all applicable laws in their country or region when using MEETO. If local law prohibits you from using a service of this nature, you must not use the App. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet both the age requirement and all applicable legal requirements to use the Service.
The Golden Rule
MEETO is built for authentic, spontaneous human connection. Every user — regardless of gender, nationality, language, or background — deserves to feel safe and respected on our platform. No one should feel harassed, degraded, or uncomfortable while using MEETO.
These Guidelines exist not to restrict you, but to protect the experience for everyone. Users who make MEETO a better place for others are the foundation of our community.
Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited on MEETO. Violations may result in immediate and permanent account termination without warning.
3.1 Sexual Content & Nudity
No nudity or sexual acts on video calls
Exposing genitalia, performing sexual acts, or engaging in any sexually explicit behavior on camera is strictly prohibited. This includes acts that are partially obscured or implied.
No sexual or explicit images in chat
Sending nude, sexually explicit, or pornographic images through in-app chat is not permitted under any circumstances, even if both parties claim to consent.
No solicitation of sexual content
Requesting, pressuring, or coercing another user to perform sexual acts, send explicit images, or engage in sexually explicit conversation is prohibited.
3.2 Harassment & Abuse
No harassment or targeted abuse
Repeatedly contacting a user who has expressed disinterest, sending threatening or intimidating messages, or engaging in sustained abusive behavior toward any user is prohibited.
No hate speech or discrimination
Content that attacks, degrades, or dehumanizes any person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.
No threats or incitement to violence
Making threats of physical harm against any person, or encouraging others to commit acts of violence, is prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement.
3.3 Illegal Activity & Harmful Behavior
No illegal activity
Using MEETO to plan, facilitate, promote, or conduct any activity that is illegal under applicable law is strictly prohibited. This includes drug trafficking, fraud, extortion, and any other criminal activity.
No self-harm promotion
Content that promotes, glorifies, or encourages suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders is prohibited. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact a local emergency service or crisis helpline immediately.
No spam or commercial solicitation
Sending repetitive, unsolicited promotional messages, links to external sites, or any form of commercial solicitation is not permitted. MEETO is for genuine personal connections only.
No impersonation or deceptive identity
Pretending to be another real person, a MEETO staff member, or using a fake identity to deceive other users is prohibited. Your profile must represent who you actually are.
No platform manipulation or abuse
Attempting to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or exploit any aspect of the MEETO platform — including automated bot usage, exploiting matching algorithms, or bypassing safety systems — is prohibited and may result in legal action.
Video Call Standards
When on a video call, you must:
- Appear on camera as yourself — do not use pre-recorded videos, static images, or video loops in place of a live feed
- Keep your call environment appropriate — nudity, explicit imagery, or graphic content visible in your background is treated the same as if it were presented directly
- Behave respectfully toward your match — abusive language, sexual harassment, or threatening behavior during calls violates these Guidelines regardless of whether it is captured
- Not expose minors on camera — do not conduct calls in environments where children may appear or be exposed to adult content
Users who witness violations during video calls are encouraged to use the in-app Report button immediately. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
Chat & Image Standards
Text messages and images exchanged through MEETO's in-app chat are subject to these Community Guidelines. All chat content is stored on our servers and may be reviewed by our moderation team in connection with a reported violation.
The following are prohibited in chat:
- Nude, sexually explicit, or pornographic images
- Graphic violent imagery or content glorifying violence
- Hate speech, slurs, or dehumanizing language directed at any individual or group
- Threats, blackmail, or intimidation
- Spam, phishing links, or malicious external URLs
- Images or content that depicts or sexualizes minors in any way
Violations identified through our moderation process will result in enforcement action as described in Section 10.
Profile Standards
Your profile is visible to other users on MEETO — including in the Explore People section and during video calls. Your profile must meet the following standards at all times:
Profiles that violate these standards may be removed at any time by our moderation team, with or without prior notice.
No Unauthorized Recording
MEETO does not provide any in-app recording functionality. Meeto Team does not record, store, or retain any video or audio call content at any point. However, some users may attempt to record calls using external software or screen-recording tools. This is explicitly prohibited under these Community Guidelines and our Terms of Use.
By using MEETO, you agree:
- Never to record, capture, screenshot, or otherwise preserve another user's video or audio without their knowledge and explicit consent
- Never to distribute, share, publish, or sell any content featuring another user without their explicit written consent
- To bear full legal responsibility for any unauthorized recording or distribution you engage in
Violations of this rule reported to us will result in immediate permanent account termination and may be referred to law enforcement authorities where applicable.
Protection of Minors
MEETO has a strict 18+ age requirement enforced at onboarding. Despite this, we take the protection of minors extremely seriously across all aspects of the platform:
- No child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — The creation, transmission, possession, or solicitation of any sexually explicit content involving a minor is absolutely prohibited and will be reported to the relevant national authorities and child protection agencies immediately
- No grooming behavior — Any attempt to cultivate inappropriate relationships with, or solicit content from, individuals who may be minors is prohibited
- No exposure of minors to adult content — Do not conduct video calls in environments where minors may be present or able to view adult content
- Age falsification — Entering a false date of birth to bypass the age gate is a serious violation that results in immediate permanent termination
If you suspect a user is under 18 or is engaging in behavior that endangers a minor, please report them immediately using the in-app Report feature and contact us at johnapps.official007@gmail.com. For more information, please review our Child Safety Policy.
Reporting Violations
MEETO provides built-in tools to help you stay safe and report behavior that violates these Guidelines. You should never feel pressured to tolerate behavior that makes you uncomfortable.
How to Report a User
You can report any user directly from within the App. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team and are taken seriously. When you submit a report, you will be asked to select a reason. Providing as much detail as possible helps us investigate effectively.
How to Block a User
Blocking a user prevents them from contacting you or appearing in your matches. You can block any user at any time. Your blocklist is accessible and manageable at any time through Settings → Blocklist.
Reporting via Email
For serious violations — particularly those involving minors, illegal activity, or non-consensual recording — you may also contact us directly at johnapps.official007@gmail.com with as much detail as possible.
Enforcement & Consequences
Meeto Team reserves the right to take enforcement action against any account that violates these Community Guidelines. The type of action taken depends on the nature, severity, and frequency of the violation.

Meeto Team reserves the right to bypass the warning or suspension stage and proceed directly to a permanent ban for any violation that is sufficiently severe. We also reserve the right to take legal action where applicable.
Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or banned in error, you may submit an appeal by contacting us at johnapps.official007@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Appeal". Please include:
- A description of the situation from your perspective
- Any context you believe is relevant to the decision
- Your approximate account creation date or any other identifying information that may help us locate your account
We will review all appeals in good faith and respond within a reasonable timeframe. However, we are under no obligation to reinstate any account, and decisions regarding permanent bans for severe violations — particularly those involving minors or illegal activity — are generally final.
Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes to our platform, emerging threats, or evolving community standards. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We may also notify users of significant changes through the App.
Your continued use of MEETO after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Guidelines. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed of any changes.
