MEETO is committed to giving you full control over your account and personal data. This page explains how to permanently delete your MEETO account, what happens to your data when you do, and how to submit a deletion request if you are unable to use the app.

Before You Delete — Important Notice
Please review the following before proceeding:
- Your display name, profile photo, and date of birth will be permanently deleted immediately.
- Your chat messages and images will be permanently purged from our servers within 20 days.
- Any active subscription you hold is managed by Google Play. Deleting your MEETO account does not automatically cancel your subscription — you must cancel it separately through the Google Play Store.
- Your report history and block logs may be retained for platform safety and legal compliance purposes even after deletion.
- Once deleted, you will need to go through onboarding again as a new user if you choose to return to MEETO.
How to Delete Your Account (In-App)
The fastest and most complete way to delete your MEETO account is directly through the app. Follow these steps:

Open MEETO Launch the app on your Android device.

Go to Settings Tap the Settings icon in the bottom navigation bar.

Tap "Delete Account" Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap Delete Account.

Review the deletion notice Read the notice carefully. It explains exactly what data will be deleted and what cannot be recovered.

Check the confirmation checkbox Tick the checkbox to confirm you understand the deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Confirm deletion Tap Confirm. Your account will be immediately and permanently deleted.
Submit a Deletion Request (Email)
If you are unable to access the app to delete your account — for example, if you no longer have access to the device your account was registered on — you may submit a deletion request directly to us by email.
Request Account Deletion by Email
Send us an email from the address associated with any prior contact with our team, or simply describe your account details (display name, approximate registration date, device type) so we can locate and remove your data.

To help us locate your account, please include the following in your request:
- Your MEETO display name (as shown in the app)
- The approximate date you created your account
- The Android device model you used
- Any other identifying details that may help us locate your account
What Happens to Your Data
The following table explains exactly what happens to each category of your data upon account deletion:

MEETO does not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or payment card data — these are therefore not applicable to the deletion process. All billing is managed exclusively by Google Play Billing and is outside of our control.

Uninstall vs. Delete — Key Difference
These two actions are not the same. Please read this section carefully before uninstalling the app.
