How to Delete Your Account in the App
Users can delete their account directly from within the MEETO application by following these steps:
- Open the MEETO application.
- Go to the Profile or Settings section.
- Select the option Delete Account.
- Confirm the account deletion request.
Once the deletion request is confirmed, the account will be removed from the platform.
What Happens When Your Account Is Deleted
When you delete your MEETO account:
- Your profile information may be removed.
- Your account will no longer be accessible.
- You will not be able to access previous matches or chats.
If you wish to use MEETO again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
Data Deletion and Retention
After an account deletion request is confirmed, most user data associated with the account may be removed from our systems.
However, certain limited information may be retained for a short period where necessary for:
- Security purposes
- Fraud prevention
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Enforcement of platform policies
